Guillermo del Toro tabs to Emma Stone for his next film

The Mexican film director Guillermo Del Toro begins to shape his new film project. In full fever signings, big names are starting to look at the list of actors for his new ghost movie titled "Crimson Peak".

Emma Stone ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2"), Benedict Cumberbatch ("Sherlock") and Charlie Hunnam ("Pacific Rim") will star in the new horror film Del Toro. Although, according to the latest information from the magazine Variety, the trio of actors just added a fourth. The Californian actress Jessica Chastain ("Mama") at the end of negotiations to join as co-protagonist of the story.

The film will be about a story of ghosts with many classical elements, always under the particular vision of Guillermo Del Toro is a genuine lover of the horror genre and suspense. For now unknown more details about the script that it is being reworked  by Del Toro and screenwriter Lucinda Coxon.

The Legendary Pictures film producer will be responsible for the film, which has wanted to rescue of the desk drawer of Del Toro. This exciting project that it had written after the success of "Pan's Labyrinth". For lack of time or lack of support for the screenplay, the film ended up being relegated to the background.

We will have to wait a few months to kick off the filming of "Crimson Peak", until February 2014. One of the reasons for this delay are the commitments of the actors, because Emma Stone is filming "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and Benedict Cumberbatch is located in the filming of the movie about the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, "The Fifth Estate".

Guillermo Del Toro also releases in July the film "Pacific Rim", a film which is about a battle between giant robots manned by men against hulking aliens.
