Applause, laughter and sadness at the SAG Awards 2013

Sunday is celebrated the 19th edition of the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2013 which have honored five categories of films, eight of TV and two special awards. "Argo", as expected, makes its way to the war of the Oscar Awards.

We continue with the awards season before it reaches the great festival of cinema such as Oscars. Again and again the same artists, the vast majority of the world of Hollywood go through the red carpet, this time at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles where was held the 19th edition of the 2013 SAG Awards.

Faces of joy, sadness faces, serious faces while grudgingly applauded, and surprised faces or very well performed to take the stage and collect the award for the category. It's a good way to test when they have to go to the Oscars and have to give the best of themselves in front of millions of people worldwide.

In the film category, "Argo" directed, produced by and starring Ben Affleckhas taken the top prize for Outstanding Perfomance by a Cast in a Motion Picture vs. "Lincoln" or "Silver Linings Playbook" although none of members of the film has taken any awards individually.

Although "Lincoln" by Steven Spielberg, we can not say that it's gone empty handed. Daniel Day-Lewis has won the award for Outstanding Perfomance by Male Actor In a Leading Role and Tommy Lee Jones as Outstanding Perfomance by Male Actor In a Supporting Role.

Anne Hathaway, the actress who does not forgive a mistake with her name, has been awarded Outstanding Perfomance by Female Actor In a Supporting Role for her performance in "Les Miserables", while Jennifer Lawrence, who was about to lose her dress to go on stage, has won the award for Outstanding Perfomance by Female Actor In a Leading Role for "Silver Linings Playbook".

At the awards related to the world of television, an unrecognizable Kevin Costner has taken home the award for Outstanding Perfomance by Male Actor In a Television Movie or Miniseries for his performance in "Hatfields & McCoys". For the female role in the same category, Julianne Moore has won the award for "Game Change".

In the Drama Series category, prizes were awarded to Bryan Cranston for "Breaking Bad" in Outstanding Perfomance by Male Actor In Drama Series; and Outstanding Perfomance by Female Actor In Drama Series for actress Claire Danes for "Homeland" and Outstanding Perfomance by An  Ensemble in a Drama Series award was for the series "Downtown Abbey".

SAG, series, tv series, television, Modern Family, ABCOn the subject of Comedy Series, once again has been the series "Modern Family" which has had to share the prize to Outstanding Perfomance by An Ensemble in a Comedy Series with the entire cast of actors who again and again have thanked the trust of the audience towards the series. Which is out award for Outstanding Perfomance by Female Actor in a Comedy Series has been Sofia Vergara, who once again she has seen how been slipping away to go this time at the hands of Tina Fey for "30 Rock". Alec Baldwin, Outstanding Perfomance by Male Actor in a Comedy Series have given a second award for the comedy series on NBC that narrates the life of a writer and most colorful companions within the NBC.

The Honorary SAG Award to his career was to remembered sweep of "Mary Poppins", the actor Dick Van Dyke, with a wonderful 87 years received this coveted award with his characteristic smile and seeing as excited as the entire audience in the Shrine Auditorium stood up to applaud.

As usual, to review his career in which films find hits like "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and "Night at the Museum" or programs and television series like "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "Diagnosis: Murder", actor Alec Baldwin gave way to a video remembering his life, his achievements and his humanitarian operations conducted away from the stage and the cameras, while highlighting his great work in the Hollywood industry.

Deserved or not, these are the winners of the 19th edition of the Screen Actors Guild Award 2013. Everything is a matter of taste.
