American singer Bruce Springsteen has been named Man of the Year by the U.S. Recording Academy. This academy has taken into account both their creative contribution to the world of music as his philanthropic and committed society.

It was easy to guess that the singer Bruce Springsteen had a great appointment for this year 2012 for various reasons. One of them is performing concerts around the world on tour with his band the usual E-Street Band on stage whose shows have done and vibrates to every fan of The Boss to go, without any conditions to his tours.

But the academy that is responsible for granting the famous awards recognizing the best in music also wanted to reward the singer of New Jersey for their solidarity and philanthropy for the needy and for those who are against the political and economic situation is currently living worldwide.

During this tour we have seen Bruce dedicating a song while calling on a cell phone on stage to a fan of his. We have seen in Madrid, as Bruce dedicated a song to another of his fans, Nacho, who unfortunately died of cancer shortly before going to the concert in the Spanish city. Singing on stage with a little girl or boy in the public and to have his moment of glory with his favorite singer.
