Bob Welch, a former member of the band Fleetwood Mac, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, about 12:15 on Thursday, June 7.
As reported by the police spokesman in Nashville, Don Aaron, Bob Welch, 65 years old, was found dead by his wife, em home, who added that the musician would have left a suicide note written.
Welch was guitarist and vocalist of Fleetwood Mac from 1971 to 1974 along with Christine and John McVie. He also formed the British rock band Paris in 1976. Among his hits include "Sentimental Lady", 1977 Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham supported him in the chorus of the song, and "Ebony Eyes" 1978.
Aaron commented that Welch apparently had some health problems recently.
